Paradise Found Farm Does -Texas Registered Nubian Goats Near San Antonio All of our Nubian Does

This is Iberia out of Orleans by Valentine. Orleans freshened with twins in 2011. One doe, one buck. She is
a small doe with a good udder but little milk production. I will keep her until next year to evaluate her value
for the future.
The picture on the right is of Iberia nursing her two 2011 kids. The one on the near side is a buck and can be
seen on the kids page. He is for sale.
This girl is Sugar, Clara's grand daughter out of Latte from 2008. She birthed her kids in the pasture on
the coldest night of the year and they did not survive. She took over a buckling from another doe and
had diligently raised him. Her udder is nice and has very good structure which was the problem with
Latte. Latte was very milky but had a terrible udder attachment. We sold her to be a nurse maid for a
boer farm. Sugar does not have the attachment issues but I don't know yet if she has the milk capacity
that we would like to see.

Hollie - Hollie is last years kid out of Dolly. We were pretty happy to have Hollie come along. Dollie is 10
now and gave us a buck kid this year. He seems to be slow growing so he will not be staying with us. I
believe that a Nubian should be a dual purpose goat as they used to be. A lot of pure milk people do not
like that about me. If you are one of them, please peruse a different website! :-). I want good eating
bucks out of my does. We can't always have does. I wish we could.

Caroline - Caroline is Tiffany's kid from 2009. She makes my heart go pitter patter. She did not kid for us this
year but she is big and strong. I can't wait to see what she produces. We have been breeding for a girl like this
for 10 years. We started with just a random assortment of does, kept our first buck too long. Spent five years
getting nothing but bucks. The next couple of years, the goats had terrible udders, then they started getting small.
I was at wits end and then Gatsby came into our lives, we used him on a few does. Valentino came along, we
used him for a season. Now, we seem to be getting the kids we want. This year, we will introduce Spice out of
Sugar and next season, Linus out of Lucy.

Tiny's girl kid - Well, Tiny may be small but take a look at her 2011 kid! This girl was born in February. Tiny
was a little confused at first. It took me two days to figure out who her mother was. When Tiny finally fessed
up, she became the world's greatest mom. That huge high output udder has raised up a beautiful kid. (Who
desperately needs a name)
This beautiful baby girl is Candy. She will be bred this summer for kidding in the winter.
This tiny little girl is Rain Delay. Thus far, Rain
Delay has been a terrible disappointment but I
won't give up on her just yet. In this picture, she
is sharing one of the water troughs with some
chickens and turkeys.
The picture on the right is the right side of Rain
Delay.
Dixie - Dixie is a wild child. She is just now
learning to get on the milk stand. She has a one
month old daughter that is about as wild and
strong willed as any goat I have ever seen. Dixie
is small but she is also very young to have
freshened already. She will probably grow now
that she doesn't have the pull of a baby holding her
back.
Chocolate, out of Clara. This is another of the
2010 babies. She should kid for us in 2012. She
is very beautiful, strong, big boned. Her sisters
have had all the extremes from the perfect udder
on Daphne to the horrible udders we had on Coco
and Latte. We don't know what to expect, we just
hope for the best. This line is always milky either
way.
Dawn - This big girl is Summers January 2010
effort. She is big and beautiful. She was one of
triplets. This year she has a beautiful sister that
was born in June. Summer has a terrible udder
but good milk. I can't wait to see what Dawn has
to offer.
Melody - This is Melina's December 2009 kid.
She has it all. Big bone, good health, great color,
winning personality. It's going to be a while
before we know about her production. Melina
was very milky with poor udder structure. We
keep breeding for better and better form. I hope
we get there. Our current bucks all come from
does with good form and quantity. We can only
hope they pass it on to their young.
